The YQM3030R is a single-port SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) resonator in the industry-standard SMD 3030 ceramic package (3.0×3.0mm, 6-pad). It leverages piezoelectric substrate acoustic wave resonance to provide a stable, fundamental-frequency oscillation reference for wireless transmitters, local oscillators, and frequency-control circuits operating between approximately 300MHz and 1GHz.
Unlike conventional crystal oscillators that require overtone or PLL-based multiplication to reach UHF frequencies, the YQM3030R oscillates directly at the target carrier frequency — supporting popular ISM band frequencies including 315MHz, 433.92MHz, 868MHz, and 915MHz. This direct fundamental-mode operation significantly reduces BOM count, PCB area, design complexity, and spurious emissions compared to multiplier-based alternatives.
The device is designed for drop-in compatibility with major international SAW resonator footprints (RFMi RO3103E, RO3101E series) and is manufactured under strict process controls to deliver consistent frequency accuracy, low insertion loss, and reliable long-term aging performance. It is an ideal cost-optimized solution for fixed-frequency, low-to-moderate power wireless transmitter designs across consumer, industrial, and smart-home applications.
