Compact-Package Bluetooth SoC with Ultra-Low Power
1. Power Consumption
Average operating current below 10μA when connected and transmitting/receiving data once per second.
Operating current of 300nA in deep sleep mode.
2. Sensitivity
Sensitivity of -106dBm at 125Kbps.
Receive sensitivity of -99dBm at 1Mbps.
3. Transmit Power
Maximum transmit power of 10dBm.
4. Range
RF link budget of 109dB at 1Mbps.
RF link budget of 116dB at 125Kbps.
Actual field tests confirm a transmission range exceeding 1000 meters.
5. Power Management
Integrated charging functionality and LDO/DC-DC, operating voltage range: 1.8V–5.5V.
When used in a system with a rechargeable battery, RM1200 eliminates the need for reset ICs, charging ICs, and LDO ICs, significantly reducing overall BOM and manufacturing costs.
Reduced component count lowers system complexity, improving reliability and reducing product defect rates.
6. Clock Stability and System Robustness
Crystal oscillator frequency tolerance requirement is relaxed to 50ppm. Compared to competing BLE chips that mandate 10ppm tolerance and specific crystal vendors/models, this reduces hidden costs.
7. Packaging
RM1200’s smallest package (QNF20) measures 3mm×3mm, ideal for compact PCB designs. In a minimal configuration, RM1200 requires only one crystal oscillator.
8. Additional Features
All pins exceed 4KV ESD protection (HBM), with antenna port ESD performance up to 8KV.
Harmonic radiation intensity 10dB below FCC standards.
Operating temperature range: -40°C to +125°C.
Rich peripheral interfaces: Supports SPI, I²C, PWM, UART, 5-channel GADC, as well as infrared, quadrature decoder, digital/analog voice input.
